Babymoon bliss

Hi all!

Well, as you can imagine, I haven't had a lot of blogging time in the last five weeks

FIVE WEEKS! Our boy is already five weeks old!

I have learned a lot in the last month and a bit... I have learned that my boy prefers to poop in a fresh nappy, I can function on very little sleep, my wife is totally and utterly amazing, babies create a LOT of washing, I have more love in me than I ever thought possible and so much more (which I can't recall right at this moment thanks to baby brain hehe)

Time flies

Gosh! Time flies when you have little sleep and spend your days staring at your beautiful baby boy. He's two weeks old tomorrow and has already changed sooooo much.

He's such a calm and content boy, spending most of his time sleeping or staring off into space. When he does cry its not for long and he's easily settled. His favourite time of day is around 2am-5am, I cannot wait for this to change to a more reasonable time but for now, it is what it is and I'm definitely not going to complain!

J is breast feeding like an absolute pro, and Elijah is one hungry little boy :) She's had some slight nipple pain but has persevered and has him latching perfectly, which means less pain.

That's it for today, I think it's sleepy time for me :)

I will leave you with some more pics of my handsome man. Hopefully next time I blog it will be our birth story... I'm just still processing it all and I'm not quite ready yet.
